Steel Bodied Mills, Shoes, and Reamers are made by braze-fitting WC Tungsten Carbide Chips, WC Inserts, WC Posts, PDC Cutters, or Diamond-Impreg inserts into machined pockets.

WC Matrix Bodied mills, shoes, and reamers are molded and packed with fine powdered WC that is supported by an internal steel component. That mass is brought to temperature under Argon atmosphere to an infiltration temperature of about 2150F where the binder alloy is melted to fuse the components together.
